On Wednesday, June 29, U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids spoke to voters at the home of educators Scott Yeargain and Polly Shteamer southeast of Ottawa. She discussed forming alliances in the state’s newly gerrymandered 3rd congressional district. Darrell McCune gave a stump speech at the event, and discussed his mission in running for State Representative, his background, his core values, and his qualifications. He said that his primary aim to was to protect our democracy, restore balance to the Legislature, to reduce polarization, and to represent all constituents, regardless of party.
